A life coach is someone who helps people make progress in their lives in order to attain greater fulfillment. Life coaches aid their clients in improving their relationships, careers, and day-to-day lives. Life coaches can help you clarify your goals, identify any obstacles, and then help you come up with strategies for overcoming each obstacle. A life coach will be there to hold you accountable and provide the support you need to achieve long-lasting change.

A common misconception is that life coaches provide advice. Life coaches do not tell you what to do, instead they facilitate the client's own process of connecting to their inner wisdom, and making choices about their actions and next steps from that place of connection.

  • Struggling with a major life decision, such as a move or career change.
  • Have a lot of stress and can’t seem to shake it.
  • Need help getting past fears that keep you from reaching your potential.
  • Are not satisfied with your personal relationships.
  • Feel stuck in life and want help getting unstuck.
  • Need help getting organized.
  • Want to improve your follow-through and motivation.
  • Want to achieve a better career-life balance.
  • Need help prioritizing certain areas of your life.
  • Want to find your purpose in life.
  • Want to practice better self-care and self-love.
  • Want to be more successful in your life or career

Unlike life coaches, therapists and other mental health professionals focus on healing, treating mental health conditions, and helping people work through trauma and other issues from their past. Life coaches identify and describe current problematic behaviors so the client can work to modify them. Life coaches cannot treat mood disorders, anxiety disorders, addiction, or any other mental health condition. If you’re experiencing symptoms of a mental health problem (such as feelings of depression, eating disorders, sleep disruption, and mood disturbance), it’s crucial to consult a mental health professional as soon as possible.

  • Better work/life balance
  • Elimination of long-held fears and anxieties
  • Enhanced creativity
  • Greater financial security
  • Improved communication skills
  • More satisfying work life
  • Stronger relationships with friends and family

I will offer you a 30-minute phone call so I can better understand what you are looking for and if we are a good match.

For clients located in the Los Angeles area I am happy to meet you in person (coffee shop, etc.) or virtual (Zoom call). For clients outside of the Los Angeles area all sessions will be done virtually (Zoom). Meeting details will be shared prior to the scheduled session.

100%! What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions, just like seeing a therapist.

The time that your coaching process will take depends on the complexity of your goals and your commitment and openness to your process.
